To the Congress of the United States of America:
There is a Crisis in Pain Management in America. The DEA War on Physicians, Pharmacists and Pain Patients has lead to the prosecutions of many good physicians who treat patients in chronic pain. Many physicians have decided not to treat chronic pain because of the fear of losing their medical practices. This has lead to thousands of chronic pain patients without medical care. Some of these chronic pain patients choose suicide over living with untreated chronic pain.
We, the undersigned, support the call of Rev. Ronald V. Myers, Sr., M.D., Founder & President of the American Pain Institute and the National Juneteenth Christian Leadership Council for the Congress of the United States to hold hearings on the Pain Crises in America.
